For those who are interested in doing an MSc thesis in the lab, please:
Make sure that you are aligned with the lab's interests.
Attach a CV along with some details about yourself and your background.
Provide the best prediction of your grades and information about your interests and plans.
Provide a link to your MSc program.
Request to arrange an appointment with me.
Prepare to go through a short interview that may include coding and bioinformatics-related questions.
Be confident to write a thesis in English.
Please note the following:
Students with a strong computational background are highly encouraged to contact the lab.
Due to limited space, we cannot afford to host more than ~2-3 students annually. This does not mean that we select candidates on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Students lacking bioinformatics proficiency who are interested in entering the field are also encouraged. In such instances, participation in a rotation or spending time in the laboratory prior to the thesis is essential.
Depending on the topic, students will be working closely with PostDocs.
