Instructions for Students

For those who are interested in doing an MSc thesis in the lab, please:
  • Make sure that you are aligned with the lab's interests.
  • Attach a CV along with some details about yourself and your background.
  • Provide the best prediction of your grades and information about your interests and plans.
  • Provide a link to your MSc program.
  • Request to arrange an appointment with me.
  • Prepare to go through a short interview that may include coding and bioinformatics-related questions.
  • Be confident to write a thesis in English if necessary.

Please note the following:
  • Students with a strong computational background are highly encouraged to contact the lab.
  • Due to limited space, we cannot afford to host more than ~2-3 students annually. This does not mean that we select candidates on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Students without bioinformatics expertise who want to get involved in the field are welcome too. In this case, a rotation or spending some time in the lab before the thesis is necessary.
  • Depending on the topic, students will be working closely with PostDocs.
